UPTIVO LIGHTBAND AND BELT-D

HEART RATE YOU CAN SEE. ON THE ARM, ON THE CHEST, ON THE SCREEN.

Uptivo Lightband and Uptivo Belt-D are the heart rate monitors we designed for the club floor: an optical armband whose LEDs light up in the color of the training zone, and a chest strap for the members who want the most accurate reading. Both broadcast on Bluetooth Low Energy and ANT+, so they talk to the Uptivo screens, to the Uptivo app and to the fitness apps and watches your members already use.

Designed for telemetry, not for the wrist: a powerful, long-range transmitter that keeps reaching the Uptivo screens in a room full of bodies, the hardest environment for a radio signal. And since wearable, app, screens and Bridge are all Uptivo, the integration is end to end, with nothing to pair or configure.

BUILT FOR TELEMETRY, NOT FOR THE WRIST

Uptivo wearables were designed from the start to send data to a screen, not to a phone a few centimeters away. The transmitter is powerful and long-range, so the reading arrives at the Uptivo display and the Bridge from the far end of the floor, wall to wall.

IT HOLDS THE SIGNAL IN A ROOM FULL OF PEOPLE

Bodies absorb radio waves: a packed class is the hardest environment a heart rate signal can face, and weak consumer transmitters start dropping out. Uptivo wearables are built for exactly that room, and they broadcast on Bluetooth LE and ANT+ at the same time, doubling the paths to the receiver.

END-TO-END INTEGRATION, OUT OF THE BOX

Wearable, app, screens and Bridge all come from Uptivo, so nothing has to be paired, configured or maintained. Hand the device to a member and it is on the screen. The club gets one chain, one support contact and no compatibility work.

Members who already own a watch still connect with it. The difference is what the club can guarantee: with an Uptivo wearable, the reading holds in every room, for every member, every class.

THREE WAYS ONTO THE SCREEN. THE RIGHT ONE DEPENDS ON THE MEMBER, NOT ON THE PLATFORM.

THE MEMBER WHO WANTS FEEDBACK ON THE BODY

Lightband. The optical armband reads heart rate from the upper arm, with nothing around the chest, and its LED band glows in the color of the current zone. Members see their intensity at a glance without looking for a screen, and the same color shows up on the club display.

THE MEMBER WHO WANTS THE MOST ACCURATE READING

Belt-D. A chest strap, the reference for heart rate measurement in HIIT, spinning and every workout where the arms move hard. Dual wireless transmission, so it works with the Uptivo screens as well as with the apps and smartwatches on the market.

THE MEMBER WHO ALREADY OWNS A WATCH

Nothing to buy. Uptivo is wearable-agnostic: Apple Watch, Garmin, Polar, Whoop and any chest or arm monitor broadcasting on standard Bluetooth LE or ANT+ work as they are. The Uptivo wearable is what the club hands out to guarantee the reading on the floor: built for telemetry, it holds the signal where a consumer watch fades.

That is why the platform is sold on one flat club license and not per wearable: the club pays once for the floor, and every member connects with whatever they have on the wrist, the arm or the chest.

HOW THE LIGHTBAND WORKS
HOW THE LIGHTBAND WORKS

THE ZONE IS ON THE ARM BEFORE IT IS ON THE SCREEN.

THE ZONE IS ON THE ARM BEFORE IT IS ON THE SCREEN.

01 ·

IT READS THROUGH THE SKIN

A latest-generation optical sensor on the upper arm, accurate to plus or minus 2 bpm at rest and reliable on every skin type. No chest strap to wet, tighten or forget at home: members slide it on and the class starts.

02 ·

IT LIGHTS UP IN THE ZONE COLOR

The LED band changes color as the heart rate moves through the zones, the same colors the Uptivo display uses. Trainers read the room by looking at arms, and members adjust the pace without interrupting the exercise.

03 ·

IT KEEPS GOING IN THE WATER

IP68 water resistance and internal memory: the Lightband records the session even where the signal cannot travel, and hands the data to the app afterwards. Aqua fitness and swim sessions count like any other class.

04 ·

IT IS BUILT TO BE HEARD ACROSS THE ROOM

Bluetooth Low Energy and ANT+ at the same time, with a transmitter designed for telemetry rather than for a watch on the wrist: powerful and long-range, so the signal reaches the Uptivo screens and the Bridge even in a packed class, where bodies absorb radio waves and weak transmitters drop out. Up to 10 hours per charge, recharged over USB.

Wearable, app, screens and Bridge come from the same company, so the integration is end to end: nothing to configure, nothing to maintain. LED zone colors and internal memory work through the Uptivo app, available to the members of every Uptivo club. Designed in Italy.

THE CHEST STRAP FOR THE MEMBERS WHO WANT MAXIMUM ACCURACY.

THE CHEST STRAP FOR THE MEMBERS WHO WANT MAXIMUM ACCURACY.

Uptivo Belt-D is the chest heart rate monitor for members who put accuracy first: group classes, individual sessions, outdoor runs, spinning and HIIT, with a reading that stays precise through every type of exercise. Like the Lightband, it is built for telemetry, with a powerful, long-range transmission that holds up in a packed class. It transmits on Bluetooth Low Energy and ANT+ together, so it appears on the Uptivo screens and, outside the club, works with iPhone, Android phones, fitness smartwatches and the most common training apps.

Comfortable enough to forget it is there, accurate enough to trust what it says.

UPTIVO LIGHTBAND AND BELT-D: FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

UPTIVO LIGHTBAND AND BELT-D: FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do members need Uptivo hardware to train with Uptivo?

No. Uptivo works with any Bluetooth LE or ANT+ device members already own, from Apple Watch and Garmin to standard chest straps. The Lightband and the Belt-D are the options for clubs that want branded hardware with zone LEDs and dual transmission, and for members who walk in without a wearable, not a requirement to take part.

What is the Uptivo Lightband?

The Lightband is the optical heart rate armband designed by Uptivo in Italy. It reads heart rate from the upper arm and its LED band changes color with the training zone, matching the zone colors on the club screens, so trainers and members get instant visual feedback on the floor without looking for a display.

Is the Lightband waterproof?

Yes. The Lightband is IP68 water resistant, with up to 10 hours of continuous monitoring per charge and an internal memory that stores the session when the signal cannot travel, so aqua classes and swim sessions are recorded like any other workout and recovered in the app afterwards.

How accurate is the Lightband?

Accuracy is plus or minus 2 bpm at rest, on every skin type. The Lightband broadcasts on Bluetooth LE and ANT+ at the same time, which doubles the reception paths toward the Uptivo screens and the Uptivo Bridge for reliable coverage anywhere in the club.

When should a member choose the Belt-D instead?

When maximum accuracy is the priority. A chest strap is the reference for heart rate measurement in workouts where the arms move hard, such as HIIT, rowing or spinning, and the Belt-D transmits on Bluetooth LE and ANT+ together, so it shows up on the Uptivo screens and works with phones, smartwatches and fitness apps.

Do the Lightband and the Belt-D work outside the club?

Yes. Both transmit on the standard protocols used by fitness apps and smartwatches, so members can run, ride or train at home with the same device. The LED zone colors and the internal memory of the Lightband work through the Uptivo app, available to the members of Uptivo clubs.

Why not use any consumer wearable for the club screens?

Consumer wearables are designed to talk to a phone a few centimeters away. Uptivo wearables are designed for telemetry: a powerful, long-range transmission built to reach the screens across a room full of people, where bodies absorb radio signals and weak transmitters drop out. And because Uptivo makes the wearable, the app, the screens and the Bridge, the integration is end to end, with nothing to pair, configure or maintain. Members who already own a watch still connect with it: the Uptivo wearable is the option that guarantees the reading in the hardest rooms.

Are the Lightband and the Belt-D medical devices?

No. Uptivo Lightband and Uptivo Belt-D are fitness and training devices: they measure heart rate to guide intensity, show training zones and record workouts. They are not medical devices and are not intended to diagnose, monitor or treat any health condition. Members with a heart condition should follow the advice of their doctor before training.
